Just Work.Automated

Marketing for plumbers, electricians & trades · Halifax & Nova Scotia

Marketing for trades that gets you found.

Just Work Automated is a marketing agency for plumbers, electricians and trades businesses in Halifax, Dartmouth and across Nova Scotia. We build websites engineered to rank in Google and to be quoted in AI answers, then automate the office work sitting behind them. The point is not more leads. It is more of the right jobs booked, with fewer of your hours spent on admin.

You're not short on work. You're short on hours.

Two problems. One fix: capacity.

Which one's you right now?

Too much work

Some plumbers I call have voicemail boxes too full to take a message. If that's you, this section is you.

    The call comes in mid-job

You're under a sink. It rings out. That was money.

Not enough of the right jobs

If the phone's gone quiet, the fix isn't buying strangers at $50 a head. It's keeping the customers you already served.

    The phone goes quiet

Slow week. The instinct is to buy strangers at $50 a head. Don't.

What the hours buy back

Dinner at home.

Survival. Get your evenings back.

Weekends that are actually weekends.

Life. See your family.

Enough breathing room to finally train the apprentice.

Scale. Build a company instead of owning a job.

Keep Jobber. Keep QuickBooks. Keep your habits. I just make them talk to each other.

Proof

This site? I built it. The agent who answers when you call? Built her too.

No stock demos. No borrowed case studies. You're standing inside the portfolio right now. Every automation on this page is one I deploy for the shops I work with.

The clients' words

It became obvious to me that he doesn't just build websites; he strategically thinks about how people experience them, understand your message, and connect with your business.

The site had only been up about three days and I'd already had a couple of calls come straight from it.

I don't want any more customers. I gotta lean down to the few that we work for.

My wife's an accountant. She's full-time in the office, she handles all that stuff.

The three above are real language from real cold calls. Names withheld. That's the deal I make with every shop I talk to.

Straight answers

The questions I get asked on every call.

What does a marketing agency for trades actually do?
For a trades business it comes down to three jobs: make sure people can find you when they go looking, make sure what they find answers their question and makes it easy to call you, and make sure the follow-up happens without you doing it at night. That is the website, the search work behind it, and the automations on top. Anything that does not do one of those three is decoration.
How long does SEO take to work?
Honestly, months rather than weeks, and anybody promising you page one by a date is guessing. The technical foundation lands the day the site goes live: a sitemap, clean structure, schema, pages that answer real questions. Google and the AI assistants then take their own time to trust a new site. What I will not do is charge you for a year of nothing and call it strategy.
What are AEO and GEO, and do I actually need them?
Answer engine optimisation means the page answers the question in its first two sentences, phrased how somebody would ask it. Generative engine optimisation means the site is readable and quotable by assistants like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers, and that it says plainly who you are and where you work. You need them because a growing share of homeowners now ask an assistant who to call instead of scrolling ten blue links.
Do you only work with plumbers?
Plumbers are where this started and where most of the research came from, but the same work fits any trade that runs on a phone and a calendar. Electricians, HVAC, landscapers, movers. My live client work right now is a landscaper and a planning coach, with an electrician's site in build. The reason for the focus is simple: knowing your trade means I can write a site that sounds like you instead of like a brochure.
Do I have to switch software?
No, and that is the whole approach. Keep Jobber, keep Housecall Pro, keep QuickBooks, keep the number customers already dial. I connect what you already run rather than adding another dashboard for you to check.
Where do you work?
Cole Harbour, serving Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Lower Sackville, Truro, Liverpool and across Nova Scotia. The work itself is remote, so the drive only matters when a site visit or a photo shoot does.

Two ways in

Fill out four fields, or say hello to my agent.

She'll book you in about 90 seconds. Either way, you'll see the system working before we ever talk. Then it just works, and you get back to yours.

Four fields. You'll get a reply before you close the tab.

The 90-second path

Rather just talk it out?

Say hello to the same AI voice agent I build for shops. She answers, asks what you need, and books the call. Live. That's the demo.
